Bigly Isn't Enough; Infrastructure Must be Built Smartly, Too

I could point out the sorry state of U.S. infrastructure by citing the grade the American Society of Civil Engineers gives it (a D+) or by the level of public investment today versus the 1960s (it's half), but I don't need to. Americans are experiencing it personally as they go about their daily lives on roads, over bridges and through tunnels that are in obvious disrepair.
